The New England-based client tasked Bluedrop with engineering and installing filtration equipment to supply their commissary which is used to prepare in-flight meals for major international airlines. The client’s primary concerns included the quality and taste of ingredient water for meal preparation as well as the protection of critical systems and equipment.

System Design & Reliable Service

Bluedrop designed a filtration system that holds over 30 cubic feet of catalytic carbon media to eliminate chlorine and chloramines and other contaminants at the building’s point of entry. This system was installed in a mechanical room immediately following the building’s water meter. Additionally, Bluedrop installed twin alternating water softeners ahead of the building’s tankless water heaters to supply softened water to critical equipment including numerous industrial sized dishwashers.
